let's be thelma and louise minus the death (aka road trip)
And so, a week later, they were still on a dirt road in the middle of who knew where in the Earth Kingdom. ...Actually, that raises a pretty good question.]
Do you have a map somewhere? Because I think we were supposed to find a town by now. ...Right?
no subject
So she was having the time of her life.]
I think so. Check the glove box, there should be a map in there.
[In fact, she was certain there was a map. She did remember moving her favorite map into another satomobile, but she had to have transferred it back.
Right?
Right.
Nevertheless, she peeked at Korra from the corner of her eye for the verdict.]
no subject
Uh... I don't see one.
[Maybe if she looked through the same small stack of papers again, it would magically appear. That's how maps work, right?]
no subject
Who knew how long it would be until they reached the next one, though?
She shifted gears and turned the car around.]
I'm heading back towards the last gas station. We can pick up a map while we're there. [A beat.] You wanna get us there?
no subject
You sure about that? I mean, you do remember what happened last time, right?
no subject
[She said this while pulling over the car. It looked like Korra wasn't going to get a choice in the matter. She unbuckled her seat belt and climbed out.]
Come on, you'll do fine.
SLAMS IN HERE
JUST KIDDING obviously he's here for tamahome or should i say tamahomie ]
NONE OF THE ABOVE PROMPTS, just go with this...
But then she started acting strangely. She told him, with watered eyes and a wavering voice, "It's for our own good, Tamahome." It's been two days and she still hasn't responded to his calls.
Per breakup tradition, he and Mako are at the latter's apartment watching a movie. A bowl of popcorn sits between them while their bottles of beer are set on the coffee table. Tamahome leans forward in his seat, seeing but not really watching the movie, while silent man-tears maintain a constant stream down his face. He thinks he's at an angle where Mako won't be able to tell, but his occasional sniffles give him away.]
omg
mako, himself, had never been very good at the "comforting" thing. he did what most guys tended to do, what he assumed most people would have preferred — he offered solutions, advice. he was a problem-solver, at the very core of him, and when a buddy came to you with a problem, even a problem dealing with girls (which mako, admittedly, had never been all that adept in, despite having had his... fair share...) he would be there for them with a solution. but tamahome was always kind of... different. too feelsy, really, in the way that bolin always was, and mako knew that coming to the other man with a list of solutions as just not going to cut it.
after about the twelfth sniffle, mako realizes there's just not avoiding it.
they were going to have to actually talk about this. ]
Hey, uh... you need another beer, man?
[ you know. eventually. ]
no subject
His tone wavers despite his efforts to keep it under control. He keeps it low, almost a growl, and he hopes the swig of beer he's taking will do something to soothe his sore throat.
He adds a beat later:] I don't want to talk about it.
no subject
She probably just needs space or something, [ he says, from the safety of the kitchenette a few feet away. he pokes around the refrigerator longer than necessary. ] You know how girls are... they're fickle, or something.
no subject
[To try and move the focus off himself, he points the attention to Mako.] I can't remember if you're dating someone right now.
insomnia. masamnia.
Bolin seemed sound enough asleep down there, so she thought it might be safe to wake up Mako if she kept her voice low. She shifted in his arm so that her face was closer to his cheek.]
Mako... [She laid a kiss on his cheek and tapped his chin with her fingertip. She knew she was being a nuisance, but her cleavage was like right there. So.]
masamnia sounds like a p legit disease
...hnn?
[ he normally isn't much of a heavy sleeper, truth be told. but sleep had always been a pretty precious commodity for the older brother who put waaaaay too much pressure on himself, especially after spending a whole day moving his girlfriend's things from her home to their cramped little attic space. so it takes him a few more seconds to turn his head over and blink owlishly at asami, clearly still in the process of waking up. ]
'sami? [ his voice is thick with a drowsiness that makes his voice even deeper and rougher, which might have been attractive if he didn't sound like a drunk right now. ] You okay?

MAKES STUFF UP
Cue the mass panic and accusation-flinging, most of it aimed at her (of course).
Korra yawns as she trudges through the halls of Air Temple island. It's late at night, and all she wants to do is pass out and sleep for a week. She nudges the screen door closed with her foot and flops onto the mattress without even peeling her clothes off and--wait, is that someone right next to her?
Korra scoots back a few inches, fast.]
What the--who's there?? [The flame she calls up in her hand lights up a familiar face and she sighs.] Oh...Tahno, it's just you.
[His apartment had been one of the first victims to the mysterious vines, and he'd agreed to live on the island with them until those things were sorted out. But what is he even doing in--oh. She must've taken a wrong turn somewhere again. It's not her fault she has a hard time remembering where everything is when she's this exhausted.]
|Db GJ
Presently, he isn't wearing his usual eyeliner. Why would he? He's trying to sleep. But interesting how this would be the second time Korra has seen him bare-faced when he rarely shows himself to others as any less than dapper. Grimacing, he fixes the sheets over his lap.]
Were you expecting somebody else? I thought we had an agreement.
no subject
[This definitely means she's in the wrong room. Korra lets the flame go out, dropping her hand with a sigh.]
I'm not expecting anyone. I just thought this was my room, okay?
[Her bottom lip's already started to stick out in a pout. In a fit of tiredness? madness? she decides, screw it, she doesn't want to make the trek back to her own actual room and flops back down onto the mattress.]
Move over.
no subject
You know, if you wanted to share a bed with me, you should have just said something.
[He says this while lying back down, unable to contain his smirk. It's very possible he is on the verge of chasing her away with that sort of remark, but he has to at least dip his toe in the water.]
no subject
Seriously, do you ever stop talking? Or do you just like the sound of your own voice too much?
[Notice she didn't deny anything--too busy being grouchy or something else?]
no subject
No one is making you stay, Uh-vatar.
[Not that he wants her to go. Half-lidded eyes casting an honest look, he adds in a lowered voice:] But you know, the invitation to stay is open.
[His grip on her wrist loosens, serving little else purpose than to simply touch her.]
no subject
[But whatever annoyance had been in her voice before evaporates quickly at his words, spoken so frankly. He’d actually sounded serious, and that makes Korra pause more than anything. She glances down at his fingers circling her wrist, then back at him.]
Because there’s no one else around right now?
[Part of her wants to hear the answer. Her expression slowly edges from exasperated to curious.]
no subject
[He isn't ready to admit that there's a small part of him who actually kind of values the Avatar as a person. His favorable opinion of her stems from being in her debt and has grown just from being around her more frequently. It isn't often that he spends time with genuine people. The worst part is that she brings out whatever little good he has in him.
So yeah. Maybe he likes her.
Instead of saying so, he leans closer and stops shy of touching noses. Usually this step is simple... and it bothers him that it isn't.]
no subject
Korra holds her breath as he moves closer. She doesn't pull her hand away or put more distance between them, opting to stay right where she is, hovering in that pocket of 'almost touching' while she studies his face intently.
He hasn't moved either, as if he's giving her that choice, and that's what makes up her mind in the end. She just hopes she doesn't regret it.
Wordlessly, Korra tilts her head and lets her lips brush his.]
no subject
Well. I didn't think you'd actually kiss me.
no subject
Korra tilts her chin up, a hint of a challenge in her eyes as she replies.]
You shouldn’t have invited me to if you didn’t want it.
CLASH OF THE ASAMIS
SCREAMS
19, 8
Asami was on the edge of her seat, but not because of what was going on the big screen, but because Korra had made herself at home between her legs. With Asami's folds spread open, Korra dipped her tongue slightly into Asami’s entrance before she continued upwards, and stopped just before her clit. It had been like this since the opening credits, Korra slowly working Asami over. Partially to see if she’d make a noise that might draw attention.
She gave a teasing look upwards as she kept lapping.]
Re: 19, 8
But she wanted her tongue on her clit. Her eyebrows furrowed with mild distress over it. When she made the mistake of looking down, the look Korra exchanged came together with the heat and wetness and intensity so that she finally emitted what Korra wanted.]
Mm.
[And exchanging a look with a mover-goer in the next box, she mustered a polite smile and cleared her throat.
Then she leaned forward just enough to whisper to Korra.]
I can't do this while looking at Bolin.
no subject
You've been doing good so far. [Of course it was muffled, and Korra left her mouth open, keeping her eyes on Asami's before sucking in her juices. The sound would have been too loud had it not been for Nuktuk waterbending in the movie. Korra drew back as if she was done, but it was all just so she could bow her head and drag her tongue up near her clit again. She had been staying just shy of it every time to build up Asami's anticipation.]
Just enjoy the movie, or this. [With that, she circled her tongue slowly around Asami's entrance, purposely darting her tongue in at random intervals. She was having way too much fun with this.]
no subject
It helped if she focused on Bolin in his fur costume. Her eyes were trained on him, which only made it weird when Korra broke through her efforts. At a point, she jerked her hips back.]
Oh— [She stifled her breaths and finally looked down, addressing her in an almost scolding manner:] You. You've gotten really good at this.
no subject
You’re good practice and I am a fast learner. [She whispered loud enough for her to hear, never breaking eye contact. Korra put her hands on Asami’s knees and eased them forward over her thighs, running her palms over her smooth skin.] Hm, save me some popcorn.
[Korra’s smile broadened as she grabbed Asami’s hips and pulled her back to the edge so her mouth was a hairsbreadth away from her puffy folds.] Just in case I’m still hungry.
[Leaning forward, Korra laid her tongue flatly against her entrance and licked upwards. This time giving a firm, sensual rake over Asami’s clit; taste buds riding along the very top and pushing the nub down from the pressure until the tip of her tongue left it. She reversed, pushing it back down and slid her tongue into Asami’s entrance until her lips were buried into her folds.
It had been close to half an hour of teasing after all.]
